Founders Alger Racing is the most active mountain bike racing team in the Midwest. With a history in the West Michigan area that spans three decades, our team members have been racing and winning since the 1980s. Team alums include many professional racers and even a national champion. We have been a stepping-stone for many young riders who were first introduced to the sport through our team. We are also one of the strongest Amateur teams in the country, with several licensed Semi-Pros and some of the top Expert level talent in the Midwest. For our sponsors, the Founders Alger Racing Team is a strong equity in the sport. Our jerseys, logo and reputation offer those businesses that support us a chance to advertise and co-brand with a winning and respected enterprise.
The Founders Alger Racing Team attends Michigan Mountain Biking Association Championship Points Series races, USAC-licensed races, as well as national level endurance and cyclocross races in Michigan and across the country. Many of our racers are strong competitors at national level ultra-endurance events, such as the National 24 Hour Challenge, NUE Series and the Lumberjack 100.
Founders Alger Racing also reserves several spots each year for young and beginner riders. Through the support of the team and our sponsors, our young riders are exposed to racing and responsible trail riding in a wholesome and supportive atmosphere. Founders Alger Racing has participated in many clinics for new riders. The leadership of our team is extremely active in mountain bike advocacy with the Michigan Mountain Biking Association and the International Mountain Biking Association.. Promote The Sport of Bicycle Racing Through:
